What is MediaVino?

Welcome. I set up MediaVino with my friend and work acquaintance Sarah in 2017. It was a long time coming and rooted around a love of wine and making it more inclusive and fun.

I love trying new styles and something different, but also making the wine fit the occasion.

So we created an opportunity to get people together to try some wines, meet and enjoy some time toghether and foster a love of wine, learning about wine and drinking and eating.

We’ve had seven formal tasting events and a few informal ones. We’ve reverted to Zoom in 2020 but never stopped trying to find new wine experiences.

i’ve made several wine tours and vineyard visits and taken some WSET courses and exams. I’ve done wine tastings and learning sessions and started to make my own. We’re on social media and have a network of supporters and enthusiasts.

And now we have a website. I’ve been putting wine gifts together for friends and family and thought I’d give it a go for others. We’ll create and update wine themes but we’re starting with Christmas and a combination of fun wine gift packages for everyone to fit your preference and the Christmas occasion. Different styles, dessert wines, fizz and that Port from MediaVino 2.

Give the gift of wine. You won’t regret it.

What to have on the day itself, with turkey, your choice of game or your vegan extravaganza? So many competing flavours. And Christmas Eve or Boxing Day leftovers? Something more subtle perhaps? We also have some ideas and some fun wine gift selections for those seeking ideas. Not just for the Christmas table but themed and some fabulous English wines to try. It’s the future.

So yes, MediaVino’s still here. Here to help you try some new wines, make the experience more accessible and get you drinking wines you will love.

Contact me if you want to know more. Try giving the gift of wine this Christmas and, most importantly, enjoy your wine! Cheers..
